TrendForce: NOR flash prices split, with 256Mb+ parts forecast up 90-110% in 2H26

TrendForce forecasts that NOR flash pricing will split by density, with AI demand pulling high-capacity parts away from the rest of the market. Parts at 256Mb and above are expected to rise 90-110% in 2H26. Parts at 128Mb and below are forecast to rise 10-20% in 4Q26.

The two forecasts cover different windows, but the direction is clear: the increase is concentrated in the higher densities, while smaller parts are expected to move far less.

Supply is part of the picture. TrendForce reports that Macronix NOR wafer starts are constrained because NAND and eMMC receive priority. Details are in the TrendForce press release.
