GLOBAL – Supply & Demand Chain Executive has recognized Michi Sham, Director of Sales, China at Fusion Worldwide, as a top female professional in the supply chain industry through its grant of the Women in Supply Chain Award. The award honors female supply chain leaders whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.
According to the publication’s Editor-in-Chief, Marina Mayer, “These recipients have re-tooled, re-innovated and revamped how the world sees the supply chain and logistics industry. They’ve paved the way for future female supply chain leaders to become a part of an industry that matters.”
Sham was selected because of her commitment to supporting customers and their supply chains throughout the 11 years she’s worked in the electronics industry.
“Michi has excelled in multiple roles across purchasing and operations, including setting up a new sales office and leading our new sales team. Michi’s versatility and tenacity is truly an inspiration for every supply chain leader,” said Marcus Chen, at Fusion Worldwide.
Sham joined Fusion Worldwide in 2015, as a strategic buyer before moving into the role of sales account manager. After achieving two consecutive President's Club awards in sales, Sham was promoted to APAC’s sales manager and mentored several newcomers before being chosen to run a new sales team at the company’s newly set-up Shenzhen office.
“It is an honor, and I am thankful to be receiving the Women in Supply Chain award. It could not have been achieved without the guidance and support I’ve received from the leaders and people I have worked with at Fusion Worldwide,” stated Sham.
