Fusion Worldwide is a place where the driven and curious have unlimited potential. Our strength, endurance, and impact come from our people. We empower our team members so they can expand their experiences on a professional and personal level.
This was a year for the books as our teams sought new ways to challenge themselves, both in the office and during offsite activities. Here are some ways Fusion was out in front of company culture in 2023.
T
o commemorate International Women’s Day, Fusion embraced equity through our #IWD2023 social media campaign, which amplified the voices of our female leaders—from sales and purchasing to quality and operations.
Our mavens of the electronic component industry shared their insights on the future of the workplace for women, their inspiration, and what has helped them succeed in their careers.
In April, we recognized the many talents of our teams across the globe by hosting our first-ever global talent show competition: “Fusion’s Got Talent!”
Employees shared their passions over video, showcasing musical abilities, dance skills, artistry, and athletic prowess.
This friendly competition united our teams on a worldwide scale, connecting employees from near and far by celebrating everyone’s unique gifts.
In November, Sky Lin, Director of Human Resources for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, achieved a remarkable milestone by completing the trek to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Sky’s expedition began at Tenzing Hillary Airport, known for its difficult conditions, unpredictable weather patterns, and a notably short runway. Undaunted by the obstacles, Sky started a four-day acclimatization hike around Mount Everest before embarking on the demanding base camp ascent.
Fusion applauds Sky for this inspiring accomplishment, as it is a testament to his unwavering determination and resilience.
As Fusion continues to grow, finding moments to bond as a team and collaborate outside of the typical nine-to-five is essential to drive continued success. This year, team members had the opportunity to engage in various offsite activities.
The Shenzhen office went on an exciting ATVing excursion. The Seoul office enjoyed snacks and drinks on a relaxing yacht sailing tour. And our Tokyo office experienced whitewater rafting in Okutama, which is famous for its clear water and beautiful scenery.

The end of the year brings a time to reflect on success, challenges, and opportunities to come in the New Year. In celebration of the year that was, our offices around the world came together to say cheers to another productive year of navigating the ever-changing electronic component market.
The Boston office celebrated with a holiday party, where the team enjoyed a photo booth, great music, and a lively dance floor. The office continued the festivities with an ugly sweater party and gift exchange. The Amsterdam office also came together for a dinner party where the team enjoyed delicious dishes, followed by a gift exchange.
Singapore turned back the clock with a ‘totally radical’ 80s-themed holiday party. Meanwhile the Hong Kong Warehouse, as well as the Shenzhen, Tokyo, Seoul, and Taipei offices gathered for their Annual Dinner Events.

No matter where, and no matter when, Fusion Worldwide’s global team tackles every challenge with focus and determination. Our people are the backbone of our success, and our success is guaranteed when we work together to get out in front of supply chain obstacles. As we enter the New Year, we look to a year of opportunity, growth, and continued success.
